Santiago Narváez Onriza, a Lápiz de Acero nominee, joins Buena from Bogotá
Buena went looking for a young designer at Colombia’s Universidad Nacional and found Santiago, whose interactive magazine was nominated at the 2025 Lápiz de Acero.
Product designer Bianca Oliveira joins Buena from São Paulo, with four products at Namu behind her. She designs in Figma and builds with Claude Code.

Buena has a new product designer. Bianca Oliveira joins from São Paulo with a résumé full of software people use for work: a field app with more than 250,000 users, four products at a health company, and a studio of her own. Today she starts on her first Buena project, a ground-up product redesign.
Bianca, by the numbers
Most of Bianca’s work has been software for people with a job to do. At Evo Systems, from 2020 to 2022, she designed business interfaces. At Namu she started as a product designer and became lead product designer, working across four products for a health company whose business-to-business model reached more than 1.4 million covered lives.
Her best-known project ran alongside that. She redesigned a trade marketing app used by more than 250,000 people in the field: the people who carry out a brand’s marketing tasks inside stores. After the redesign, mission completion rose 35%. When your users are standing in a store aisle with a phone in one hand, a clearer screen is the difference between a finished task and a skipped one.
She does the whole job: research and usability testing, design systems, interaction, motion and prototypes. Earlier this year she also founded Vila Studio, which makes AI-driven products for real estate, including CRMs and 3D virtual tours. Her profile and work are on her team page.

Designers who ship real software, with AI in the loop from the first sketch to the final build.
Bianca designs in Figma and builds with Claude Code. She likes to prototype in code, so the thing she shows a client often already works. That fits the way Buena has been moving: one team where designers ship real software, with AI tools in the loop from the first sketch to the final build.
A designer who can hand over clean components, written specs and working prototypes, in a format every engineer can read, saves weeks of back and forth.
Her first Buena project set the pace. Bianca delivered the design system, the MVP screens and the handoff documentation in under five months. In 2026 she came back to Buena full time, and her next big project was close to home: the new Buena website.

Francisco “Fran” Sanchez started building the Buena Design System in Framer in December. Now the web designer and developer joins the team.
