Buena has a new product designer, and he won’t be new for long. Lucas Inzirillo joins the studio from Argentina today. He starts with onboarding, then goes straight into product design. By February he will be leading it.

Lucas, by the numbers

  • 2020the year he started designing productsFreelancing for companies in Germany and Spain.
  • 2countries he freelanced for before BuenaGermany and Spain.
  • February 2026UX/UI directorHe started on product design in January and took the lead the next month.

A designer who knows what happens after Figma

Lucas has designed products since 2020, freelancing for companies in Germany and Spain. He co-founded beAuPair in Germany, and he ran development for a Shopify store in Argentina. That last part matters. He knows what happens to a design after it leaves Figma, and what a developer needs to build it right.

Lucas works in UX design, design systems, dashboards and web design. Ask him about dashboards. Or pizza. His profile is on his team page.

From first day to director

Lucas started on January 20, 2026. In February he became Buena’s UX/UI director, leading product design across the studio’s apps and sites, from dashboards to interfaces.

That was the year Buena started building software of its own. At its January retreat the studio set out to build systems that actually scale, and a product studio needs someone who decides how its products look and work.

Keeper of the Buena design system

Lucas looks after the Buena design system, the shared components and tokens that every Buena app is built from. It is why Gitterdone, Corazón and the rest of the family look and feel like one.

He works from Argentina, part of a team spread across the Americas, from Doug Burnett in Portland, Oregon to Camila Collazos in Medellín.
